SNAK
The SNAK Research school is a collaboration between four Danish Universities to promote international-standard research in Sense organs, Nerve systems, Behaviour, and Communication.
Our focus and goal is to expose PhD students to a broader range of ideas and techniques than one university alone can provide. We achieve this by running courses led by international researchers and by exchanging students between us and sometimes further afield.
Our own research interests span the field from basic research into sensory physiology, behavior and neurobiology to applied research into farm animal diet and hearing aids, with two special foci in bioacoustics and animal husbandry.
